About
I built this site because red light therapy sits in an awkward gap between decent science and very confident marketing.
My background is in statistics, with a master's focused on biostatistics, so I'm allergic to hand-wavy claims and underpowered studies. I started reading the papers, testing devices where I could, and trying to translate what's actually known into something people can use without needing a lab or a spreadsheet.
The focus here is simple: what seems to work, what is still uncertain, and what details actually matter in practice, especially dose and distance.
If something is well supported, I'll say so. If it isn't, I won't dress it up.
Not actually me!
Some product links are affiliate links and are marked as such. They help support the site, but they don't change how things are scored or written about.
